It will list accommodations that are not listed on the typical internet booking engines. They have listing for South and Central America which may interest you and there is also other information about places of interest. HostelTrails is an excellent resource. Give them a look because you can never have enough information. Hover your mouse over the country you would like to see then click.
Would you like to check the exchange rates for currency? XE is the link for doing that. It is the resource used by the hostel booking engines when they calculate how much you will pay in the local currency for a room.
Would you like to see the seating charts for airlines which you may wish to fly? Here is one link for doing just that. Seat Guru is one site I use when I wish to see where the best seats are located before booking a flight and deciding which seat to book when the time comes.
Maybe you have looked at a web site which only shows a two character airline code, how do you know what airline you would be flying? IATA - The International Air Transport Association is its global organization. IATA has developed the commercial standards and for over 60 years, has represented and lead it members of over 230 airlines, representing 93 percent of all scheduled airline traffic. You can visit this web site and plug in the two character airline code and find out which airline it is or you can request the location code and find out the airport code by selecting the location name.
